my 99 2500/24v needs some fuel i think. i just put the adjustable wastegate valve on and its turned up as far as it goes. dr. performance stage III, but i didnt tap the wire yet(scared, i allready replaced the vp44 last dec.), 4" straight exhaust, boost/pyro gauges, k&n filter, and now i am trying to figure out what should be next. Injectors? comp box? i drive the truck daily for work so i need to keep it reliable but would like some more power.
my top boost is at about 28 psi, i thought it would be more but i have 165k miles also. any suggestions?

i tapped the wire. wow. before the vp44 died i knew it had more with the dr. performance, but now i know. untapped max boost 27-28 now 31-33. hotter egt's though, must be from more fuel? had one problem though, the lift pump i dont think is working corectly, at idle 13-14psi, but when the key cycles not much. maybe the gauge??? i replaced the fuel filter, oil and oil filter the same time that i tapped the wire. when i went to start it it wouldnt run for ever. after i gave up and went to the mexican restaurant and had a few margaritas tried it two times and it cracked over. whew. but when i shut it off and cycle the key to on, it doesnt have psi? maybe i need to check it out in the daytime when the margaritas wear off.
