new pump & plumbing
new pump & plumbing
Finally got the Raptor running, and all lines, filter, etc, up to the VP44 all bled. The tapped fitting right into the injection pump is where I bled the whole thing, and the Raptor pushes the fuel out hard and steady, just as I'd expect. However still nothing out of the injector lines.
Funny thing though, when I had just the stock in-tank lift pump going, I WOULD get a small flow out of some of the injectors--but now nothing....Any reason why? Yes, I know I need a new VP44, but I wanted to get the tank to I.P. plumbing taken care of first.
Also, is it normal for the Raptor to run for a few seconds AFTER turning the key to off?

Crack 1 and 3 injectors lines at the head and crank for a bit. It's easier to have someone else with you so that they can tell you to stop cranking. After a couple seconds of cranking there should be fuel at #1 and 3. Tighten those fittings up and start cranking again. The engine should start to want to take off after that.
If you aren't getting any flow at any of the injector lines/cross over tube connections...I would be looking for a new IP, JMO
