PLUMBING FOR AUX. TANK

Want to buy an Aux. tank and plumb it into the truck. Also want to be able to switch between factory tank and the aux. tank. Anybody have any plans on how the best way to do this is??<br><br>Thanks!!!!!!<br>Kip

How are you going to mount the tank...1) if its a bed mount then you can just run a hose with a switch shutoff into the current tank fill pipe to keep your main tank full....2) if its a frame mount you would need a switch over valve and plumb into your supply hose to the engine you will also need a in tank pump and a fuel gauge

I have an American tank and they have the proper swithover valves and good instructions and what wires to tie into for transfer of tanks and fuel sending units. Check installation instructions. http://www.auxtank.com/auxtank/installation.asp

just curious here ..... y not just hook into your factory tank and let it gravity feed to keep it full all the time then when your gauge starts to move u know u need fuel . y all the work to add valves etc......... just curious is all .....scott
