New intercooler boots with issues

I ordered a set of Rips intercooler boots, and could only get 3 out of the 4 on and couldnt use 4 of his clamps. I'm not bashing him. I like the boots. forst thing is the 4 clamps seem too small and one of the intercooler boots seemed too big. it butted up against the t bolt stops before it was tight. not a real biggie, i took the new nylon nuts with it and reused the stock clamps where necessary. the other and more severe issues was the pipe from the airhorn to the intercooler boot did not fit. At first I thought the boot was too short. Well I got the turbo to intercooler boot on with no problems (after I figured out the clamp didnt fit), but on the driver side, the boots have to be about 50% on to get equal clamping on all 4 sides. So to make a short story long I reused the stock boot on the airhorn. The easiest one to get to. The 2 straight boots are about 1/2 inch shorter than the stock ones, however the transition boots are longer than stock. Anyone else run these boots with similar issues? Worse case I cut my pipe and add 1/2 inch to it. Gonna call him tomorrow and see if the boots are actually wrong or I a monday built truck with mismatched parts. I got the black ones as I like the sleeper look. ;}

I know mine were a different brand, but they were a PITA to get on, spent a lot longer than I thought. I thought one was the wrong part, but I just had to rotate it different than I thought it needed to be and it kind of relaxed and fit better. I am not sure about the straight pieces though...

Well he is sending a new straight boot that he will add about an inch too, and new clamps on his dime Thumbs up to Rip again.
