New intake horn/manifold

Well a wile back AirForce One Performance used my truck for the R&D on there new Intake horn. Well the first perduction run is done and hear it is http://www.btgmotoring.com/Merchant2...Category_Code= I took my CFM+ off for this one. Its cheaper than all the other ones out there and IMO looks way better than the rest of them.

The CoolerTubz one in your sig? I have seen that one. If you were to put these two side by side there is no comparison between the two.

Why the transitional mismatch? The pic shows a round outlet while the CTD inlet is square with rounded corners.

It's amazing how people think a piece like this is something special. It looks cool, but let's get real-- it's mandrel bent exhaust pipe with a welded adapter plate, some other weld-ons and a lot of plating.

It looks cool, but the amount of "engineering" in a piece like this is very low.

I'm waiting for someone to build a proper "cobrahead" style intake for our trucks.

Alas, the tooling costs of hydroforming for a piece like that can be pretty steep. Shoot, the tooling just for a sandcast is expensive, never mind a die cast or a gucci hydroform piece.

1st of all I hear what your saying. But it does flow much more air than the stock one and that is the whole point to these type of parts. I feel it flows as good as any of the aftermarket intake horns on the market. Other wise i would not have sold my CFM+ for this one. and 2nd there is NO plating. Its polished Stainless not plated.

Say what you want but it works better then the stock one and i can back it up because i have one on my truck and Ive had it for awhile with gains of better throttle response, and a lil bit of boost and thats all that matters

wish the end was beed rolled so the pressure or boost would not blow the hose and clamp off ,if that was done would be a nice piece

Dont think that is going to be a problim. If that end was shorter it prob would be but there is more than enuff contact surface airea that does not happen.
