problem solved
I was reading up and tried just starting my truck without the FASS pump priming and it fires right off everytime.
If I let the pump kick on before I can crank it then it will hard start.
Gotta love breaking them loose in the rain at 70 in 5th.
I only smoke down at night when no other cars are around.
