Well, I'm finally gonna end the death wobble once and for all. The last of the Skyjacker garbage is going down the road next week. Control arms are being replaced with some new long radius arms from DT. David sent me a picture of them and they look pretty trick.

Y-link tie rod set up is being replaced with a cross over steering set up from Thuren Fabrication. All 1.50 DOM tubing and 28K rod ends with some really pretty bends in it.

Track bar is also coming from Thuren, same shape as the stock bar but it's made out of 1.75" DOM tube with a Rubicon Express type joint at the frame end and a poly/hybrid bushing at the axle end. The frame side bracket welds on and the axle end is adjustable. This is replacing the SJ track bar that is the single biggest waste of money on my whole truck.

Also ordered a new steering box from PSC.

I'm on my third set of front tires since the rears went on, and the death wobble keeps coming back. Can't seem to keep an alignment under this truck. If this doesn't cure it once an for all, this truck will be somebody else's problem.

I'll post some pictures of the pieces before and after installation, all the stuff should be here by next week.

Now I just gotta figger out which shocks I'm gonna run.........

I don't know if this is a pre-curser to things to come but my track bar is getting lukes linked tomorrow hopefully before I get out of town for christmas. So far, everythings holding together with my skyjacker.

Mine held together fine for a while, but after 4 years and 150K miles, it's wore out. 37's can't be real easy on it either. First thing I replaced was the coils, the SJ coils were just a little too stiff for my taste. They were also starting to settle.

This combination I'm putting together now is kind of an experiment based on past experience and what I've learned about Dodge front suspension since I did the original lift.

If it turns out the way I think it will, I should end up with something that performs way better than an off the shelf kit for about the same cost as a SJ Class II double flex kit.

Once I get everything on I'll decide what shocks I'm gonna run. Leaning toward Bilstein 7100's, but at $180 a pop plus upper mounts I might have to settle for the 5100's. I can get the 5100 for about $100 less per shock.
