Has anyone looked for a replacement for the storage part of the center seat? I like how other brands have the cup holders molded into the lid of the storage unit. I was wondering if anyone makes a replacement that bolts into our trucks that has this feature. I want to keep the stock center seat, just replace the storage part that flips up and down.
I have seen the Geno's cup smoothie that would give me cup holders, but with where I have my scanner mounted, I don't think it would work (plus, I don't like it that much).

I had my center seat and console removed for about two weeks while I was installing my amp and front speakers. I have to admit, having the space there between the seats was kind of cool. In fact, I almost never put the seat back in and instead just put a piece of carpeted plywood down on top of the brackets, creating a false floor above the amp. Then of course, I'd need seat-mounted armrests of some kind. But it was neat having that space there. Kind of like in a plane or something. hehehe. Anyway, I wound up putting the seat back in.

 

Scotty replaced his with a really cool custom center that holds his CB and conforms to the armrest. Check his pictures out! I use my center seat quite a few times a year, since the rear seat is filled with Hunting equipment from October through mid January.

 

I've got the one from Genos.com and love it!! Moved my CB to space behind stick shifter...
