I think most people are upgrading to the FASS II or staying with the stock LP. Holley & Carter add on pumps are not very dependable. IMHO.

After searching this site and many other websites the carter seems to be the best of the two. No pump is flawless, but the holleys seem to have problems caused from diesel fuel (which our trucks use). For diesel application the carter pump is the better choice and when two are used in series they seem to be very reliable. These pumps are designed for pushing fuel not pulling fuel so the closer to the tank the better. The 05's have the lift pump in the tank, it is suppose to make them last longer. Time will tell if this decesion was a wise choice or cause more problems when it comes time to replace them. Most if not all gas applications now use an in tank pump.
