new bee, vortex thingies?

Any opinions on these intake-mounted vortex vane things?
Does the theory/application make sense for the CTD, or
just make cents for the seller?

Thanks, just wondering.

Your premonition is correct, it makes cents, not sense and is in fact, nonsense !!! lol

And since such a snake in the grass that would sell such things also always has a lawyer in his back pocket, I will complete this post by saying: All of the above comments are my personal opinion only and are not meant to libel anyone or any company and are in no way representative of this forum, this website, its moderators, the web hosting service for this site or the company which makes the wires that connect my pc to the internet and thusly to this forum.

Those things are a waste of money for any engine gas or diesel, carb or FI, just good marketing for people who don't know any better.

600: wires to connect to the internet, man you need to get into this century and get a wireless router But anyway, I don't know what vortex thing your talking about, but on gas engines the throttle body spacers like the Helix actually work to increase throttle response, I've used 'em on a 4.0L Explorer, and a 4.3L S-10 and was happy with the difference.
