new 98 12v

I just picked up a 98 12v 4x4 5 spd. I just finshed the kdp now I want more power. I have ordered gauges. I think for now I just want to move the stock plate foward but what else can I do that is cheap. Also I have searched for about an hour on how to move a plate but I can not find the answer can someone point me in the right direction. '

thanks

If you know how or know someone that has another fuel plate (ie:#6 plate) you can use a grinder and fab your own custon plate for free! I love that word! Thats what I did on the 12v I used to have. Hope this helps.

I have seen that people do that but where do you grind, how much do you grind, does that make you have a 100 plate. I have heard that is bad for towing.

Do Gunracer's 3GSK mod.

It will cost you almost nothing- maybe a dollar and works great.

It by passes the idle spring using a washer, tightens the stock gov springs to give 3000 rpm with no issues.

Gun should get a gold star for this one...
