Well, I broke down and ordered a Nelson 86131M muffler, but I am afraid it is going to be too quiet. I originally had an expandit muffler with my 4" system that I bought from the dredded RPM outlet, and like a dummy I took it off and straight piped the truck. Well after becoming deaf and dumb from listening to that straight pipe for several weeks I decided I wanted it even quieter than before.

I began doing research on relatively high flowing, quiet mufflers, and found the Nelson 51" oal 4" in/out muffler to be a good choice due to not having an internal baffle. It is a straight through design. I ordered it from Agrepower.com. Anyone had business with them?

Is anyone running the 86131M on their 12 or 24 valve and if so how do you like it? Is it too quiet? I would hate for it to sound gutless.

Nevermind. I have canceled my order for the Nelson. I am going a different route.
