Quad can you Please email me a 4k Comp tune that will not shut the truck down? We have our 3rd pull of the year coming up next weekend and I cant get a solid run in worrying about the truck shutting off and the sled hitting me again!

Yeah its cool when its not happening to you! I havent built any crash bars yet but will have them on before next weekends pull.

 

If they do not get up tomorrow at a reasonable hour then I will personally email them to you!

Also, please, please test them before you hook up to a sled!

Oh, I will be testing them. And if they shut the truck down I'll be testing my new Crash bars at the same time! JK

I always test them on the street first and the Comp2_4k seemed to be fine with the stock turbo. But I added a new turbo that spools much harder and 4k comes really quick now. Hard to pedal it and keep it down around 3800rpms.

I can test them any time and would like to have them by Friday (pull is saturday) if at all possible. Would like 100% Fueling to 4k or as close as you can get it. Have valve springs and head studs going in this week. LMK

ADRCOMP2_4k has been updated where it does not shut the truck off at high rpms. The file is dated 2-4-09 so make sure that is the one you get.

I just downloaded all the tunes again and I'm prety sure one was a 100% 4k tune.

 

Hows it work Pete? I'm about to go out & start my torn apart truck to hear it rev!!! Suspense is killing me.

 

I loaded it up and went out to test. Tried all kinds of stuff with the pulse but still no 4k. I did hit 38xxrmp one free reving. The most it hit moving was 3738rpm but bounces back to 36xx and is VERY choppy. This was with pl04-pl10 out of 11.

 

Was that with Smarty or without? Can you launch it at 3700?

 

That was with smarty SW4. I could maybe launch at 3700 if it would hold it smooth but with an auto I'd already have quite a bit of wheel speed
