When i put the bracket on the bolt then the slidenut then the link, another slidenut slide it in the factory hole the bolt does not go in all the way.the tapered edge of the bolt should protrude through the factory hole.

oh ok, i do not have that installed. i have 'been meaning to get around to it' for at least two years now!

it would be very easy to install. mine needed to be drilled, but if i were you i would weld it if possible.

so the current links, or the lazarlinks without the bracket basically make a 90* bend right? well, with the brackets it turns the 90* 'L' into an upside down 'T' for two solid mounts instead of one single mount.

not sure if you knew this already, but thought i'd mention it for others anyway . . .

oh, i see you have another post. didn't know you had already tried to install them.

well, i had mine on with the drill method for a while but i didn't have it lined up quite right so i took them off and have been meaning to weld the hole closed and then just weld the brackets on instead of drilling next time.

i do recall having issues as you are mentioning though and i just had to play aruond with the nuts/washers/spacers until it all worked right . . . i even called mike and he said they ship them in the correct order/configuration but i already had them on the floor in pieces . . .

Even if i skip all the washers it dont jive.I would weld it if it would line up.Plus it would give me a reason to repaint this gay blue bracket.

If i can find another bolt with a longer taper it would be nice and snug, then i could use the bracket.
