Need performance trans.

Looks like I totally smoked the 47RE in my Banks powered Cummins. I cant see spending $4000 on a stock trans that will do the same thing again. I want to find someone who builds these things right. I do alot of towing, and I make alot of power. What are my options?? Have a performance version of this trans put in, or is there another trans that will bolt in its place?

Thanks

I would call some of the vendors out there, talk to them and go from there. A partial list below of some of the better players. List is in no particular order

DTT= www.dieseltrans.com
ATS= www.atsdieselperformance.com
Goerend Bros= www.gbtransmissions.com
Suncoast= www.suncoastconverters.com

Buy a DTT. They sound good. Then let me know if it's worth the money.

I'd seriously give each of them a call.
Explain what your BOMBing goals are, how/where you drive, towing etc. and see what each has to offer for the $$$.

For the record, I went with Dave Goerend's Trans Upgrade kit, with ValveBody & Torque Converter.

A Twin-Turboed Cummins Ram couldn't pull the smile off my face.

I called around and went with the complete Goerends tranny. It even has a machined torque converter. Call Dave and see what he has to say. He also offers one of the best warrantys too.
