Hide them.

There's a truck down the street from me that has them on the roof, and they just look tacky.
Albiet, they are on a 1970's Ford, but still, tacky.

Mine are on the roof and I like it. I am trying to get some updated pictures in my photo gallery of the horns, among other things.

A friend of mine put some train horns on the roof of his truck. Less than a week later they were stolen. I voted no for the roof, but I would love to have some hidden air horns

No way! I don't even think a Redneck would do it! I know us Hillbillies wouldn't. I just bought mine last night and there going up under the fender.

I'm with Tx - I think the stealth and scare factor would be much higher with them hidden.

I saw a 3rd gen with a flatbed this morning that had a HUGE (either 4 or 5 bells) set of train horns mounted on the headache rack. They had a flat finish, so they didn't stand out like a chrome set, but they were definitely eye-catching.

Not my choice for a mounting location, but to each his own. Not sure where else you would put a set that big.

I voted yes because the big trucks looks good running them and you have space between the running lights on top just waiting for horns On second thought if they're two feet long they might be a bit of of propotion to the truck.

thats why i ordered the big chrome cab lights. they are about 8 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide and the back half is chrome. they look like they came off of a 2 ton truck

Horns on the roof are way to old school retro for my liking on a 2nd gen Dodge.

Too much cheese for me! I like the clean contemporary look.....
