OK, so anyone done this, and had the PM3 stop fueling?
I stacked my Drag Comp on my PM3 Comp and it works for a while, but then the Comp stops fueling. The Edge, from level 1-3, still seems to work, and if I switch the wire over to the Edge Comp, I can stop traffic with the cloud again. I just can't figure out why the PM3 stops fueling. When I give it fuel I see the boost and fuel light go on, on the remote, so it "thinks" it's fueling.
I can see no connection problems under the hood. I just put new bullet connectors on the wries under there because I DID find a connection problem a few weeks ago.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

Where did you get your bullet connectors? do you find them better/
I'm looking to install my PM3 here right away but don't have the 3 taps I need.

Truthfully, I HATE bullet connectors, but I was repairing what was already there, and that's what I had handy. I much prefer blade connectors because they are easier to put together and pull apart (the important part) without pulling the wire out of the connector.

OK and the blade connectors are called scotchlocks then?

The connector you are thinking of is a variant of the "scotch lock" that comes with the PM3, if you don't get the "grabber" tap, that puts a female blade connector junction, tapped into the middle of the pump wire.
(I do not see the grabber on the TST web site anymore)
My problem with thos scotch lock-type connectors is they cut into the actual conductor material, severing part of it in many cases, and if the wire weren't subject to so much vibration, that might not be too terrible, but with the vibration and the possible corrosion....
Because it cuts the conductor a bit, I only use that type of connector as a last resort in any situation, and I stuff dielectric grease into it before I use it on a wire, just to try and keep the corrosion down.

This might be a better option: http://www.tstproducts.com/index.asp...ROD&ProdID=140
It may shield the cut in the wire insulation better than other taps. This may be the same as the Bluechip cover I have read about.

Check your In line fuse near the box. I think I remember mine doing just like yours (fueling light but no fuel).
It's a 5v fuse and can look OK when it's not... so just replace it.

I have used a 'Grabber' for 4 yrs and two VP-44's. I think TST told me they stopped selling cause price went up. Should be able to find them on the internet... know I use to see them elsewhere. I think they are great!

Checked the fuse last night. It looks good. Anything else I should check?

Thanks,

The ground. TST needs a real solid ground. Mines grounded to the frame.

Is the fueling light working on the box itself?

Yes the fueling light is working. My ground is the same place it has always been, the tapped wire as per installation instructions. I will hook it up again tomorrow and see if it has decided to work. For the past few days I had the Comp wire connected to the pump.
