Need help with p-pump

I work with a guy who has an 8.3 in his motor home. He is interested in the fuel plate that is in it. I was looking for some pictures of the pump and afc and some with the afc removed so I can see the fuel plate. I have searched with no luck and was hoping someone could send me the requested info or a link where I might find it. Also the last three numbers on the plate are 843. I found that a 913 was a 215 pump. Is the 843 a 160 pump or is that something specific to the 8.3l engine.

MY email is jason.jsj@gmail.com if you can e-mail some pictures

Thank you in advance for your help
Jason

What year is it? The p-pumped 8.3 will respond to all the same mods as the 5.9.....however being a motorhome dont get to crazy with the fuel or headgaskets & exh man gaskets will become a problem.

Thanks for the help. I was also looking for the cut-a-way view that I have seen that shows the gov. arm and talks about how to adjust it, if any has a link to that site that would be great.

There are other parameters to remember with this mod. The transaxle has a torque input limit just like any other auto trans. With I.D. numbers from the transaxle, you can have someone look up the ratings and go from there.

I once read a post where a guy added power to his motor home and ended up having to manually shift his rig to keep from harming the trans. That is excessive to me, but to each his own.

Stay within the limits and he will be happy with his new power.
