Need help on extra fuel tank???

Hey guys, I need some suggestions on an extra fuel tank. I am hauling alot and have to stop every 4 hours to fuel. So I figure I could save some time with a another 50 gallons in there.

I wanted to know if any of you had any suggestions and if you have done this before some advice please.

Thanks!!!
Luis

Lots of ways to go.
- Extra under bed tank, custom or comercial.
- In bed with a transfer pump, may or may not be DOT legal depending on construction/use. Everything from small tanks to over 100 gals. Some are toolbox and fuel tank combos (I think handy and northern tool have these). Some work with regular bed boxes.
- Larger replacement for factory tank, not sure if your year has one or if it would have to be custom made. Good chance you could find one premade.

I have a toolbox/50 gal tank combo that has been in my other trucks but I am not sure I want to loose bed space so.... I may go with larger or additional under bed tank.

No replacement for displacement, except boost. But boost AND displacement is really good!

A local guy has a 98 gallon transfer flow tank for sale. He wants 500.00 for it. Cost over 1000.00 new. I don't think I can swing the cash right now to buy. If you want I can grab it before a Ford guy does. It's well worth it, looks like new, out of a 98 3500.

Hey Rick, thanks that sounds like the ticket I am looking for. I will call you up today.

P.S. How far is Altoona PA? I am in MD about 20 minutes south of Baltimore and can hit PA in several ways. 83, 95
