I'm looking for a replacement ECM for my 01.5 Ram. Any one know where I could purchase a reliable one for a decent cost? ( Dodge is too expensive) Also can they be programed for after market accessories?

I am not familiar with that yr. , some [ just automotive in general ] started having the ability to flash , mostly with limited changes , but I have heard of some high end customizing of ECMs , but could not direct you at this time .
It is rare that they are bad [ even though many have been replaced ] , the info on testing is hard to come by .
As for getting a used one - http://car-part.com/ .
There are rebuilds out there also .

 

Try this site:http://www.allcomputerresources.com/ they may have what you need. I got a computer for my daughters car w/life time warranty. They also flash it for your vehicle.
