Need Batteries

So as well as my tranny going out, my injection pump taking a dump, my batteries died... What do you guys recommend for battereis for this truck? I have no extra things on there. Do I have to get an opptima, or would a sears special work just fine. Do you guys recommend any certain batt over another?

thanks
Dima

I always use and sell Interstate batteries, even though NAPA would like me to sell there brand. Most likely a bunch of rabid fanatics on here will tell you to buy Optimas , just don't buy any cheap rebuilds

Well it all depends

Money grows on trees? Dihard Golds from Sears, Interstate Batteries work well too

If u run on budget like me, I have run Nascar Exides, and they work surprisingly well, Yet it dont get too cold down here, a set of two set me back about 135 bills. My old Ford IDI had Duralast Golds and for 200 bux

Oh and yes.. I like optimas too

I personally like the Optima's...

Because I am hard on batteries and they are better at taking a charge.

Flatty same dilema..

Had to replace IP this year, bought gauges(still need to install), then batteries... And money does not grow on trees.. But after doing a little research on here... and sleeping heavily on it.. I decided that I wanted a sealed battery, to reduce the chance of battery juice cooking out for what ever reason.. I got the Optima's because they should last for years based on other user's experience... And I like the look..

The only recommendation I can make is, make sure they have the cranking amps and a reserve... Oh yea and they fit.... Had a heck of a time getting the tie downs the way I wanted them with the Optima's...

hmmmmm.... What to get next?? After the guage install....
