N-Fab Installation

Hi,

Does anyone have any install pictures or notes, or perhaps could explain how their neft bars mount? I'd just like to get a better idea of what's involved and if the mount points make sense etc.

Thanks

The ones that were on my 93 were the tube aluminum type. the mounts were bolted directly to the frame sides with big zap screws. Personally I didnt like the that. you gatto watch the other side for fuel lines etc.

My Grizzly double-bends mount to the cab mounts as well. They included slightly longer bolts to go through the angle brackets. Not the greatest picture: http://www.jimpointeronline.homestea...izzlymount.JPG

Shows them mounted on my '98 1500. There's also a small "L" bracket that goes through the lip or seam at the bottom of the body under the door.

My westins took a pretty good beating one day. I let my buddy drive my truck one night while I was with my girl and he drove over a 3' rock with the truck. It sounded nasty and I thought he nailed the door and screwed up the rims. Turns out it had bounced off the bars and it only made a dent in them about 1/16" deep. The truck cracked the rock in half.
