well i detuned my truck for WHILE, now it has only the drag comp, 170hp sticks, intake and exuast. STOCK TRANNY, stock TC, stock everything, even put the stock VP back in for a while to tow with. just raced my buddies 03 and he has a full DTT setup, HOT juice w/attitude and water meth. no way i should have won with my setup and i beat him by 1.5 truck lenghts. and thats without a 4x4 launch.

i knew you would be the one to give me a bad time lol jk. i am just changing some things on my truck . it will be in the shop for a while and when it comes out it really wont be able to be a daily driver again so i thought i would have a little bit of fun untill then.

 

what was done to it and what are you fixing to do to it?

 

So how long can you drive like that with that power with a stock tranny?

ha ha your right i think. before, i had a HRVP, 170hp sticks, DRAG comp(EZ MODE ), Smarty, TST comp stacked all together, ported and polished head, studs, o ringed, and just #2 diesel. when i raced him today, all i had was the head, drag comp, 170hp sticks, intake and exaust. my truck is a 1ton dually ,,,,,,,,,,,his a quad cab, 2500 common rail, and an 03 at that. he has the HOT juice, full DTT setup and water meth. there is no way i should have beat him. and man, this stock tranny sucks and the tc slipssssssssssssss BAD. reason its going into the shop, is i am going to be makin a pullin truck out of it and i havent decided if i am going to P pump or not. either way, it wont be very street friendly any more

impossible the motor may be pushing that much but theres no way to get that through a stock tq

That seems like a waste of money having all that fuel and can't put it to the ground, how come you haven't built your tranny?

 

i had a full DTT dillet everything, and i was a nice guy and sold it to my buddy that was in need of one. i had about 6K miles on it and loved it. i am going to get one from Dave this time cause you cant beat his warrenty.
