How much power is lost with the 2 90 degree bends required to do a single passenger side stack?

Right now I have a 4" downpipe to a high flow muffler dumped right out of the muffler with a 45 degree bend. (no bends around the axle)

Will I gain anything or lose anything going from what I have now to a single stack, no muffler?

I've only found stacks in 5".... seems kind of dumb to go from 4" to 5" since my downpipe is only 4". .. but maybe that 5" helps a little on the 90 degree bends?

Is there such thing as a 5" downpipe? Is there enough clearance (4" is tight here) even?

 

I don't think you'll loose anything noticable by adding 2 smooth flowing 90s in the exhaust stream (.0001 hp?).

Yes, there is such a thing as a 5" down pipe, but you'd need to be running a very large charger or twins to have an exhaust housing that large. (The B2 for example).

Makes no difference since the exhaust is only 3 inch off the turbo where it matters most. Anything after that is show and tell.

 

Well that's good to know, now I can upgrade to 5"
