More HP

With my sig in mind,(stock turbo/100hp inj) What would be the answer to gaining some more horsepower somewhere between 450-500 for the end result? Turbo and bigger injectors no doubt but what would be my best options? Everyday driver! Kinda hoping for a little quicker spool up if thats achievable. Thanks for your time.

I think you answered your own question--bigger injectors and a new turbo. The key to spoolup is going to be in the type of turbo you go with.

If it were my rig I'd probably stick with the injectors you've got if you've already dyno'd 360 rwhp. Remember that with the HO pump you'll usually gets more than advertised HP on injectors. Turbo I'd probably go with a 62/71/14 unless you tow often than I'd go 62/65/14. Put a TST PM3 other there and call it good. With my VP's this was one of my favorite setups, though I'd run 125 or 150 hp injectors. you can run around with just the smarty and injectors. It's keeps smoke down and you're still able to tow good. If there's someone on want to play with flip the TST on (mine was always set to 9) and have some fun. With adding just the turbo and TST it should easily put you into your power goal. As for turbo, if you're looking to save a little money look up forced inductions. It doesn't have the fancy HTT or II name but will do the job just as good.

Well, interesting you mention the tst power max 3 because I still have one in my truck! lol I just didn't hook it back up after istalling the HO pump for fear of voiding my warrenty but that has been a couple yrs ago. What setting did you run your smarty on?

All depended on what I was doing but most often it was on 9.

The HO (028) pump makes less power than the SO (027) pump. I would run another turbo under the stock turbo. I currently run dynomite 300HP sticks, really feel like a 150-175HP on stock turbo. I can pull a small trailer and daily driving is fine, but I use water/methanol.

Over the years I've run almost all the borg warner/garrett holset turbos going, hard to beat the stocker for spool-up. A few mods to the turbine housing and/or use of an external wastegate would be the hot ticket. You can build twins for your truck cheaper than most S300 T-3. Lots of issues with the S300, small bearings/smaller shaft.

I recommend run an edge comp box, I put down 673rwhp in my truck a few years back. I just haven't had a chance to put my second turbo back on.
