Alright,

The ATS TC is getting put in this week, so of course I've gotta get more toys. Anyone out there know if I can stack a Predator stage 3 with either an EZ or a COMP box? Or should I just run the COMP box? What experience have you all had? What have you seen running as far as boxes on the 98 24's?

Thanks

Yup! Just don't know anything about a Predator box. Is the new TC the only upgrade you are doing to the tranny?

So far yeah, the TC just seems to be the weakest link. What else would you suggest?

Just a word of caution about adding hp slowly till you see how things work out. Some good reading here about balancing your tranny to handle added power.

Interesting article,

I am not replacing my TC becasue it failed, I am just strengthening the drive train. I have had no problems thus far and am fairly reserved when driving. Don't get me wrong I tow a 35 ft flatbed trailer loaded with two jeeps and a load of junk in the bed. And I do like to smoke the heck out of the little rice burners around here, but I am fairly reserved on the daily driving of the truck. What all have you had done to your truck, or what experiences have you had w/ autos?

You might want to also replace your valve body and add a deep sump pan to hold extra fluid it will help keep fluid cool. I would just run the Drag Comp and call it good 140 rwhp You could also add a catcher ecm for some more low end power
