mods installed

Just got the edge juice with attitude and 4 inch exhaust put on my truck on friday. I got the compnsy to check fuel pressure on my truck they said I had 15 psi at idle and 11psi at wot. They said that was plenty of fuel pressure. I drove the truck home about a 100 miles and my pressure started to drop. At speed limit the fuel pressure was only 4 to 5 pounds and that was with the edge set on number 1. Going up a small hill it would drop to 2 psi and the egde alrm would sound. the lift pump is brand new. I know I am going to need a different pump what kind do youquys recomend I have a 2001 quad cab 4x4. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks Garry

not to make you sound or feel like you had a I-D-1-0-T error when was the last time the fuel filter was replaced, I had a problem like this. and it turned out that my fuel filter only lasted 3000 miles that run talk about getting some bad diesel in the tank, or it was my new pump sucking up the gunk in the bottom of the tank.

might want to check the electrical sending unit of the juice, set your display so that you can see the FP then unplug the sending unit the FP should be between 32-34 drive it around with it un-hooked if your reading shows anything other than 32-34 then the module is bad.....

I had the same issues about starting about a month ago, local diesel place that I got my lift pump from kept yanking me around. So we put a mechanical gauge on it, pressure was even worse than I thought. They still wouldnt get me a new LP until mine went to 0psi last week and wouldnt move....

Yeah sounds like you may be headed down a slippery slope towards a new fuel system... I know I am most everyone seems to run the fass ($600) or a combo of the stock LP and a holley blue mounted down by the tank ($100 = or - ) or there is the glacier kit (and others) that puts a walbro pusher pump down by the tank and then replaces the lines feeding the IP to handle the extra flow ($350 or so I believe)
