Mod 98 12V or not??
I'm debating on whether to mod my 98 12V. I have a #6 Fuel plate kit that I removed from my 95 truck that I am selling and TST will swap the #6 out for a #11 for me for free. The truck doesnt tow and will be burning WVO very soon. Its a 5 spd with the 215 pump so I know its the perfect candidate but im worried about MPG and reliability how bad would whats listed below effect it? What kind of power would I really get?
Option 1: Stock put the money into DSS, shocks, maybe new steering gear
Option 2: #11 plate, 3K GSK, EGT & boost gauges, & BHAF

I would revise your thinkin...
100 plate, grind it for free, save some money, 3K GSK, for free using the washer method, BHAF from fleetfilter.com (wix part # 42790, or napa 2790) Go with the two gauge package from www.puredieselpower.com, ands till have enough for your shocks with the 200 u saved from buyin a plate and GSK..
PS once u start BOMBing, there aint no end in sight.....
