My sister has an 02 HO 6spd and she wants to get the trailer tow mirrors to replace the 6X9 that came with the truck. the problem is that the truck has the power and defrost mirrors and we can't seem to find the trailer tow mirrors that have the power and defrost for the 02 models. And to go from power mirrors to manual would just be a pain. Can anybody help me with this.

 

They never made factory power/heated tow mirrors for our rigs. You can buy aftermarket if you want to retain those features like ****'s ($350+) or you can get the non power factory ones. I just installed them on my truck.
Some have swapped the '03+ heat/power tow mirrors with the '02 and below base, but you'll need a complete pair of each to do that.
For me the ability to see my sides and behind me clearly outweighs the power/heat option...plus they "fit" my truck better. My wife adjusts her side, I adjust mine...all done.
I seldom used the heat option...even when I lived in AK, and almost never moved them out of the position they were in.

Moose is correct. The 02's didn't have a power/heated tow mirror option. A couple of folks on here have done the swap for the 03+ power/heated but I think those mirrors are about $350 for a pair and you can get the regular mirrors for about $200. It'd be a nice feature to have...
