Max efficient boost for HTT 62/71/14?

I want to crank up the boost level from the ~39psi it comes set at, but I can't seem to find a number anywhere describing the "range" of this turbo. I don't have studs or rings so I know I can't go too high. What kind of boost do other people see with this? Is it even worth turning up now? Thanks

I wouldn't turn it up until you atleast get studs. Some guys have got away with 45psi, but that is living on the edge. I turned my boost down from 55psi to 45psi & got way cooler egts when I was running the Drag/Smarty stack. I think 45psi is ideal, but now with the Adrenaline I am seeing 50psi+ again & haven't touched the wastegate.

I kind of figured that, I was checking out the stud install, seems pretty simple, just replace one at a time, just seems tedious torquing and un-torquing. By the way, is that how you even spell "torquing"?

From what I understand that turbo is very effecient right around 42-45. That is just what i have read so don't take my word for it. Like you said, you can't run to much boost without first upgrading headgasket

I would set it up for around 46-47 psi. The charger will flash to around 50 psi then once the wastegates open it will drop back a couple of psi.

The map for that compressor barely extends over 3.5PR. Depending on your elevation and air filter restriction, this could be anywhere from as low as 30psi to as high as 35 psi.

This is the very edge of the map. It doesn't necessarily mean it's optimally efficient, just that it's within the operating range.

35psi from a 62mm turbo is a LOT more air than 35psi from your stock charger....
