magnaflow

looking to ditch the stacks on my truck and go to regulaur type exhast. was wondering if the magnaflow 4" exhaust is a good system, how does it sound with the muffler(even though I'll probably go straight pipe) and it does come with lifetime warrenty. also thinking on going dual exhaust but costs much more and out of work, anyone running a daul exhaust how do you like it where did you get it and about how much$. thanks

I have a magnaflow exhaust its stainless steel, but it still is not "stainless". its held up ok, one hanger did break off, welded it back on no issues again,
the thing is way too quiet with the windows up, windows down it sounds good, again the muffler makes it too quiet.(slightly louder than stock, when hard on the go peddle)
I'm in Edmonton Canada and I paid 360USD delivered to my door for it, at the time local shops wanted over 800$ for the exact system I have now!!

I believe there are venders here on this site who can hook you up with a good deal on an exhaust system

Sounds like I gotta get me a Magnaflow muffler. How big are they in diameter?

I'll measure it for diameter, but its freaking long, maybe 40+ inches (just a guess)
honestly from in the cab window up or down its not much different than stock sound

Don't make the same mistake as I did! Get the whole system at once. When I first bought my truck it was straight piped and it drove me crazy on long trips. I was short of cash so I bought a 4" "cat-back" system thinking I could complete it later. Imagine my surprise when the shop told me that magnaflow wouldn't sell me the downpipe and extra tube. (They wanted to sell me a whole new system!)

Eventually I discovered MBRP and they said "No problem". No concerns with quality on either though.

Happy shopping! Randy.
