Bob,

What boost are you running on that dodgezilla and whats your EGT's like?

I am gonna end up with the MAD ecm and the dodgezilla as soon as the clutch is in...but I am not sure what housing to get on the turbo to keep the EGT's down

I am sorry for the dumb questions but I am looking for a 24v truck and need to learn more about them.Is the MAD ECM a fueling box like the edge comp? And I know these go through lift pumps pretty fast, will a fass or air dog solve this problem?

It looks like to me the best deal would be a reprogram the ECM, like the MAD, AND a reprogram of the FPCM.
Bart, It was a typo. I went back and read that. I changed the original post. I believe the MAD and COMP work well together now.

The MAD has a feature that some may overlook: Durability. We rarely have troubles with the factory ECM, but the COMP is famous for breaking right and left. The MAD ECM uses the stock factory engine control module, but is written with performance optimized code.

VERY good point Don!

OK, I let another kitty outta the bag...

Only very few customers have noticed it. You know about the defuelling the 01.5 and up trucks have during hard launches, powerbraking and 1st-2nd shift?

Try it with the CaTCHER and tell me...

do you still have the "buy your MAD ECM and I'll send you my ecm" program, if so what is the "core" charge?Do you have the comp specials in stock in the US?

Marco your last post confused me does all that head banging mean it does eliminate all defuleing in second gear and the high end defuel in every other gear at 2700 rpm?

Above 2700 tha CaTCHER is a little better than stock but it's nothing worth to mention.
That has to deal with the high idle governor which I'm still not able to do what I'd like him to do....

Instead powerbraking, 2nd gear defuel, 1st-2nd gear shift defuel is a different story...
That's for the 01.5 and up trucks. The previous ones didn't have that problem.

We Diesel Freaks are the only ones that do the .5 years.
As far as Dodge is concerned, it is a 2001.

Rear disc brakes make it a 2001.5, but we are the only ones that care.

Much like mine, 2002 per Dodge, but as I don't have the front CAD, I call it a 2002.5

The 3rd gen folks have the 2004 and the 2004.5, when the 600 came out.

Just a little "mines bigger than yours" going on.

Back to the Mad ECM question, Marco need to know what software version your ECM has in it, so he can match it to the correct MAD version when he upgrades.

You can find this out by having the Dealership hook the DRB to it and telling you what version.

Confusion...

The 1st-2nd gear defuel starts with model year 2001 . NOT with 2001.5.

Sorry for the confusion!

As said here 2001 = Rear drums
2001.5 = Rear disc brakes.

For DC there is only MY 2001. They call the trucks with the rear drums " Early build 2001". While what we call 2001.5 is simply a 2001 for DC. Yup, I've learned it the hard way...

Of course each MY needs it's own software in order to operate properly.
