I Here The Low End Hit On The Mad Is Good. But Will It Spin The Tires Just By Hitting The Go Pedal? On Auto With 3.55 Gears.a Comp Won't Do It.

The ecm will actually bog my truck down if ya stomp it off idle(to much fuel), you do much better if ya roll into it, but you can turn day into night if ya floorboard it

And it will no doubt let you spool faster if you use it right

Remember that you can't buy new Mad ecm's anymore. You might be able to find a used one, but you would probably be better off getting a Smarty. Then you have adjustability.

My truck will roast the tires if I build about 8 lbs of boost and let go of the brake, 1st thru 2nd no problem. I actually have to get out of the go pedal or I just sit there.

I think most will agree if you just mat the pedal without holding the brake, it will smoke heavy start to roll and as boost comes up then the tires will break loose. This all depends on mods of course.

Mike D is right!
Just build a little boost before releasing the brake and the rear will let go nicely. Keep it under 8 psi or you will either defuel... or worse...break an output shaft in the tranny.
The MAD ECM/Smarty will help.

with the Comp...you need the "special" Mad ECM for a 99, Federal truck (either automatic or Std would work) . Has no timing added since your Edge Box already does that!
