mad ecm?

i have seen in some sig's that guys have a mad ecm listed, what is it and what does it do is it programed differantly or something?

I believe that it is was the inventors of the Smarty produced before they came out with the Smarty. If I remember right, the MADS ECM is something like the SW8 catcher on the Smarty.

Load a smarty software onto your truck and you'll have a mad ecm. Before smarty came out guys used to just swap the whole ecm out. With the smarty we have it so easy =) They had two versions- the regular one had timing which was the equivelent of SW9 on the original smarty software. The "special" mad ecm had no additional timing advance so it's the equivelent of the original SW8.
