mach injectors

ok if i was to set up my truck with mach 6's and a smarty i would be around the 475 hp mark. but if i put the mach 7's in and a smarty i would be around the 495 mark right? is there that big of a difference in the two injectors? is the mach 6 the better injector? they say 7's are for twins only but the 6's are ok to run with a big single? i plan on running a phat shaft 64 with this. Opinioins? would this be pushing the stock HO vp44? when this one goes out i plan on stickin a hrvp44 in. Thanks

From my understanding Mach 4.5 will drain the HO Vp44 plungers.

With an untapped wire, you could probably run an M6.

I think the M4.5 limit for HOs is spec'd by Don with the assumption of a wire-tap fueling box, but I could be mistaken.. If I am, then follow Mike D's advice and stick with M4.5 or smaller.

Maybe Don will chime in..

You might be right Justin. I was thinking wire tap after reading his sig. Mid 5's or 6 would probably drain 'em pretty dry without a tap.

Dieselnutz got 440HP with his 02 HO and Mach 4's and Smarty. I got 401HP with Caatcher and Mach 4's on my ETC auto.

If you have enough air like a phat shaft 64 or 66

There should be some more numbers coming out soon.

Mach 6's, Steroid B-1, and a timing box yeilds around 480-490 RWHP. I would bet the Smarty would have the similiar results.
