Question Little more umph

OK , probably been ask a million times , but is going to a different fuel plate the way to get some extra ponies ? And what is recommended ? I'm not wanting to hotrod my truck , just get a little more tug when I pull my racecar trailer. Stock 12 valve right now soon to have a Goerend Brothers tranny and triple loc convertor. Thanks

Yes, fuel plate is the easiest, fastest, cheapest, one of the best ways to go. Can be bought or made for free. With a new tranny you can probably run a #0 plate.

I've jus got a 100 on a factory tranny minus vb and love it but I'll agree with the others, with your new tranny a 0 and gsk kit would be great.

IMHO Timing is just as important, plate, GSK and timing (I like 16.5*) make for a great towing truck. The timing will also help with EGTs am milage.

you wnat a 100 plate its like a 10 at the bottom and a 0 at WOT and a GSK is a spring kiy that lets yo urev higher and makes the throttle more touchy. I hate to say this but just search for both and you should find a picture that contains a diagram for cutting a #10, #100, and a #0 plate and days of reading on GSK's
