Lift Pump Failing?

My FP is 10 at idle and 4 at WOT. It used to be 17 at idle and 6 at WOT when the truck was new. It's a little over a year old and has 29K. Should I pursue a warranty replacement or go with an aftermarket replacement? Is there a pump that can replace the stock lift pump?

Re:Lift Pump Failing?

If it were me, I'd go with warranty replacement as often as I could till the warranty ran out.

Then I'd look into an aftermarket system.

By then, all bugs should be worked out and a great bulletproof system will be available.

No point in spending money on something that might fail, let Dodge spend its money for a while.
It's their fault they fail so often, maybe they'll learn from their mistake.

Well, at least it's a noble thought!
