Lift Kit

I already have a levelling kit, but I want more. I've been looking around and I found the Dick Cepek one. It looks pretty good... just wondering if anyone here has any experience with it...?

Ive heard the arms are not super strong but that has been in offroad situations. I personally like the kit for a tow rig and Im think of getting this lift on my next truck.

Anyone else recommend a lift that they think is good? I do a lot of driving on bumpy gravel roads with a big quad in the back.....

It's a sweet kit, those long arms smooth out the ride so much. I was going to buy just there long arm kit to upgrade mine. But I'd say do it, overall it's a pretty darn good kit, a lot better than skyjacker IMHO!

I have a 4.5" skyjacker lift kit on mine, and I love it. I would go with longer shocks for more suspension droop, but other than that it is a good kit. Granted it's not a long arm kit like this, but the only thing I don't like about this dick cepek lift is the add a leaf and taller block. These things already have enough of a block factory!! A taller block would cause some killer axle wrap.
Later,
Tommy

How bad are the add-a-leafs for empty driving? Id imagine the ride would be more harsh.
Ive heard a couple folks say one or two inches under the oem blocks (you need the bump stops) is ok for axle wrap. Thats only enough for a levelling kit really.
I got a lift shackle with a shorter reach to try out, but I have a feeling it might have a bad effect on making the spring bottom out early.

I agree on the lift block and add a leaf. I'd probably have a custom spring pack made or something along those lines. I've got lots of 4x4ing experience... and lift blocks are definatly not a good thing.
