levelling kit question - rear springs. . .

i have a 2000 2500 4x4 with factory camper package (extra rear leaf spring per side - i think). I want to do a levelling kit and am wondering how much higher (if any) my rear end is compared to a non-camper package truck.

from just looking at a side profile of my truck it looks as if 2" won't be quite enough to level it out.

anybody know if 2" is enough or not?
anybody know how much higher my rear end sits compared to regular factory leaf rear ends?

thanx,
jason

I also have the factory overload, extra spreing pack deal on mine. I think a 2 inch's up front would make it perfect. I put on a 2 1/2" spacer on top of my front coils and it seems I now sag just a bit in the rear.

Now that I look a little closer at these pic's it doesn't seem like it. But when standing next to the truck, I kinda see a bit of a sag. It does sag an inch or two when I have my slide-in camper loaded up. To combat that, I'm in the process of adding some airbags to the rear.

jpr,

nice truck & wheel /tire combo. thanx for the reply. you have a pic titled 'parked at work' in your gallery. is that with the 2.5 spacers? i think it looks like what you were talking about with the slight sag in the rear in that pic. in the two pics above though, it looks awesome.

thanx again.

anyone else have any input regarding my original post?

Yes, the "parked at work" pic is with the 2.5" coil spacers mounted. But hose tires are only 285's which made it look more saggy in the rear. With the 35" tires mounted, not so much as you can see in the above pic's.

Thanks BTW.
