Leveling Kit and Hummer H2 wheels/tires installed!!!

I finished up the install this weekend. Overall I am really happy. It give the truck a really nice stance, and for a reasonable price. One more stop at the alignment shop next week and I can place a check in the completed box.

Sorry about the poor pics. I was being extremely lazy and didn't move my wife's car to get a true side view.

I ended up modifying my 16" center caps. I would have liked to use a set off a 3rd gen, but haven't come across a set for a reasonable price yet. I will keep my eye out for a set of the argent silver, not chrome 3rd gen caps, and will swap these out eventually.

STOP POSTING THESE PICTURES!!

Everytime I convince myself that my next set of tires are going to be 285's, you guys post these great pictures of 315's. They look great. Using the H2 wheels sure is a nice look without getting into the really big buck wheels.

If I had 4.10 gears, I'd have me a set o' them too.

Nice job!

Hey there, the Rims and Tires look great, and the truck too. Very nice setup.
I was wondering how much that tire and wheel combo was, and also where did you buy the leveling kit?
I am looking to do the same thing on my truck, mabye not the rims, but the tires and leveling kit for sure. Those rims are very tempting though .

Also will they run fine with 3:54 gears?

Thanks.

I picked up everything off ebay. I paid 575 for the wheels/tires and 100 for a steel leveling kit.
I had to have the wheel modified slightly. (Do a search on Hummer wheels to get the whole explaination.)

3.54 gears would not be the optimum ratio, but it will work.

fourwhls00 & others,

I'm having a hard time finding the 4.75" holesaw to get the job done. Any chance someone would want to let me borrow their's for a week? I've got a set of the H2's laying on the kitchen floor begging to be put on. trucks@firepunk.com

thanks!

I had mine bored out at a local machine shop. Although, you can order a 4 3/4 holesaw from mcmaster.com. The part number is 41005A62.

I would check around to a few local machine shops and see what they can do for you. It took the gentleman less than an hour to do all 4 wheels.

Found one! Last 4.75" one on the shelves at the last shop on my list. Four days of searching took the sting out of the $64 invoice.
