Leveling Kit

Is a 2" leveling kit too high? Will the front end be higher than the back after it's installed?

Re:Leveling Kit

Mine is not. Check sig to see details (my pic page does not have any pics of the truck with the leveling kit yet).

Re:Leveling Kit

My rear was still about 1" higher with the 2" leveling kit.

Now, it is just about dead on level with the 4.5".

I think I still have a pic of the truck with the leveling kit on it and 315X75R16 BFG AT

Re:Leveling Kit

I have a leveling kit and I hate it. The truck is level when empty, but when I hoook the trailer to it, 20ft flatbed, and put a 2300 lb car on it, the read end of the truck sags now, where it would look almost level before. I could put 1700 lbs in the bed and the truck would almost drop to level. I thought that was cool.
Now I feel like one of those overloaded 1/2 ton pickups when I put weight on the back.

Just something to think about before you put a leveling kit on there.

Re:Leveling Kit

My front end was actually a little higher after putting my leveling kit on but I was able to even it out by putting some air in my Firestone bags. Mike

Re:Leveling Kit

Every 2" leveling kit that I have installed has set the 2500s level. My truck is up about 7.5 inches now (level) and will sag in the back if I am towing a heavy trailer. The trick is: use a load leveling kit (spring bars). Perfectly level with a 9000lb trailer!
