Ok guys, I want to put a 2" leveling kit on my 99 2500 4x4. I was looking at Ready Lifts 66-1090 because it has a lifetime warranty. My problem is, I have a vibration in my truck at 65mph, I thought it was a tire but changed those and wheels too. Now thinking bad steering shock. Problem is, Ready Lift says it's the steering on the Dodge and if you have the vibration, not to install the kit. Any advise? I would appreciate it.

 

Check the track bar. Commom problem. Have someone shake the wheel back and forth and look at the ball socket where it bolts to the frame. If it jumps up and down it should be replaced. Replace it with a Moog part or upgrade to a 3rd gen track bar. DONT GO CHEEP OR YOU WILL DO THIS AGAIN!!!

 

Does the third gen bolt right to the second??

 

Not without a bracket that is available from some suppliers.

 

So I am guessing that some of you guys have or had the same problem? What is your opionion on the leveling kit, is it worth the money?
