Lets talk Jammers....
Ok here is the deal, I know F1s are the "best" but my budget isn't there right now. What is the highest stage jammer? 5? I would also like to know who is running them and how they like them. What is the hp rating? Where is the best place to get them? How much smoke are we talking about? - Chris
one54ton,
The Stage IV's are the top of the line at approx 120-130 HP depending on who you talk to, we have had customers call back and say they got considerably more. Most of them are running the Comp and or Hot Comp and intake and exhaust, works good. Give us a call if you have any questiosn or need a set of the Jammers.

Its hard to say what is the highest "stage"
I have ordered over 10 sets just to make one set that flowed even.
I have seen J5's come in flowing 38 lpm to 60 lpm.
The most common set I have put together all flow 55 lpm.
With a 55 lpm injector a sp66, drag comp, and the jammers will still get you to 1600* on a run from 0 to 120+. The 1600* comes right about 80 mph. After that the pyro reads "auto meter"
To put 55 lpm into perspective DD3's flow 38 lpm.

I’ve been wanting injectors for some time too. Sure I want Don Morrison’s, but getting that many bones rounded up for MY truck is not going to happen as long as my wife is still breathing (bless her). I know this subject has been beat to death – resurrected and beat to death again. But maybe it’s time to update the information out there. Does anyone have some hard info on these nozzles? I’ve searched through all the old threads on these injector nozzles and can’t make heads or tails from the info. It’s common knowledge that Diesel Dynamics and Edge are the same nozzles. There has been some speculation that they are made in India or some other foreign country. I’ve also read here that BD nozzles are quality made. However, I’ve called 5 different places including Edge, DD and BD and they are ALL Edge nozzles. NONE would tell me the country of manufacture! Am I just naïve or are product manufacturers not required to disclose the country of manufacture? If I can get a decent set of nozzles now for a third of the cost of the best performance injectors I’d do it. Then start a ‘secret’ fund for some F1’s a couple years down the road. I find it hard to believe that getting good nozzles are hit or miss. But looking at the information that’s out there, that’s exactly how it looks, hit or miss.
Yes lets do talk jammers. I cant afford the F1s either, but cant decide between the complete injector or just the nozzle. I think I'm leaning towards the stage 4 complete injector. Reason being because they will be easier to install. I on the other hand do not want to hit and miss for the right injector.
My debate is between the nozzles or the complete injector.

Either way is fine. If you buy just the nozzle, I suggest having an injection shop install them and check the pop off pressure. I have been around hundreds of trucks running these and everybody loves them. Don's injectors are great because they produce the hp they are rated for. Personally I won't spend the extra $ for them, because I don't think their any better than a matched set of jammers. Just my .02

i run stage 5 jammers in my twins and they LOVE it.......the truck idled a heck of lot better when i installed them also the truck had more of a cam sound to it also at idle..........my fuel milage has actually gone up a little from my old injectors but then again my old ones wasnt spooling the twins up. I would buy another set of stage 5's for the value at which they cost again. the flow rates have become more dependable sinc eEdge bought out the company that manufactured them up to 2003
I talked to a local injection shop and he quoted me 17.00 a injecter to install the tips and to match all the pop off pressures. That is going to put us somewhere around 350.00 using our injecter bodies or some cores we may have.I think i am going to be somewhere around the 100-125 nozzle.

Anyone with edms will tell you the same.[/QUOTE]
I have edms and love them but Ill still have to agree with sleds. I went from 125hp jammers to 150hp edms and picked up 28 horse and 40 torque. Pretty close to their ratings I would say.
