KORE - Performance Suspension

Okay I'm will be lifting my 98 Ram in the future and I see a few of you have these.I am use to like 6 to 8 in leaf spring lifts these don't seem to lift much I want to run 35-36 in tires. Okay I love the lifted look but want a nice ride and working suspension so do these kits even make the truck look lifted.its mostly a daily driver, logging roads and mud once in awhile but I need a nice ride for my back so is this the way to go?

I don't know if kore has anything out for the 2nd gens. I was under the impression that it was only for the 3rd gens. Either way, kore only lifts the truck maybe 2 to 3" which is all you need to run 35's.

They have the kits for the 2nd gens. If I were to get any sort of suspension upgrade, it would definitely be the Kore stuff. If I ever have enough money I will. It will fit 35's easily, according to them, but only a 2 or 3 inch lift. I would personally not like my truck to be any higher than that, but to each their own. Have a good day!

Yeah, KORE has a system for the 2 gen... But the aims are clearing 35" tires, flex, and travel, not height. If I was gonna do more than a leveling kit, I would go KORE.

Hmm. If they have a 2nd gen kit then there might be a 4.5" skyjacker kit in the classifieds soon.

They definitely have a second gen kit as I have one sitting in my garage waiting to be put on. Just need to wait for some warm weather or find a heated garage that my truck will fit in before and after the install. Wont fit in my garage as it sits now due to length not height. Most of the newer parts such as the steering damper, control arms, sway bar etc are only for 3rd gens though. If nobody has checked out the KORE website the chase series is using new fox shocks instead of the bilstein 7xxx series which means you no longer need the billet shock towers for the new chase system. The price dropped by about 1/3 from what it used to be.

I purchased the chase system. However it is the previous version with the billet shock towers and the bilstein 7xxx shocks. They didnt have the new version announced yet or for sale when I ordered in December.
