Jammer Inj tips or 275 Inj ?
Wich ones will work better for mild up grade and how hard is it to install tips on to the inj Im looking at the jammer stage one or new set of 275s I just need a little more power to pull with.
Yeah man, seriously, check out the 1.6's. The guys on this site won't steer you wrong. I've had mine in for about 6 weeks, they're awesome. Felt like they doubled my truck's power by themselves. I tow 10,000 lbs daily, makes it much easier on the truck.
Better make sure your tranny can handle it though, they'll kill a stock auto quick.

I'll throw out a vote for the Jammers from citydiesel.net You can get a set of stage 2 or 3 (complete balanced set) for slightly more than 275's and about half the cost of Machs.
I'm not bashing the Mach series by any means, just offering another less expensive option. I've been very happy with my Jammers

i've got the 275's & in my opinion you'd be better off to go on to maybe a stage II or III Jammer, & I'd go ahead & get the balanced set as well, just my opinion, alot of folks have had good luck installing tips in their garage, but personally I'd feel a little better knowing they were pop tested & a matched/balanced set, I'd go ahead & give the Jammers a whirl over the 275's, they are at best a "very mild" upgrade, the 275's alone in my truck are hardly noticeable over stock, I'm sure they help some with timing & the fueling box on, but alone they aren't much different than stock, just my 0.02 cents, Dusty
getcha a set of nozzles off of ebay. much cheaper and almost-as-much performance. im running a set that i bought off of ebay and installed my self and have had 0 problems. ive also installed 2 other sets in the shop and have had no problems out of them either. But im not saying that will happen every time....

Yes these are for the 01 the 98 is a 12v. Nobody seems to run the stage 1 nozzel maby I will try and step up to the stage 2 and hope the trans will hlde it. Blackdiesel how hard is it to do the nozzel change? And I will have them pop tested just to be safe.

I have a set of 275 nozzles that i ran for a while when I first did the p-pump conversion. You are welcome to borrow them. If they work give me 20 dollars, if you decide to go with something bigger, just send them back. There is a definite difference between 275's and jammer 1's. 2's will probably goof up your stock tranny. Last time I had some pop tested, it was $175 dollars by the time I got them back. You might be money ahead to get a set of 1's that are already together.

as easy as unscrewing the tip, replacing the nozzle, and screwing it back together. takes a maximum of 2 minutes per injector. just make sure you take the first one apart slow to see how it goes together
The jammer 1's felt a bit stronger than the 275's through the whole rpm range. Switching to 2's made a big difference on the bottom end. That will be the part your tranny won't be crazy about. I think you'll be happier with the jammers as long as your tranny holds up.
