you control the heat with your foot, you might have to downshift if you tow to get the rpms up.

you ll get a lil less mpg, but once you get use to the hp, you wont care about mpg.

You will have to watch egt's when towing but it can be done. I have the stock turbo and 5's with a quad xzt and its warm but not to bad. I started out with stage 2's and the next week ordered the 5's and it is alot better.

5s with a stock turbo....that wouldnt work well. stock turbo dont push enough air for them, with my 3s the egts get perdy toasty. my mileage didnt change if i could keep my foot out of it.

Id go with the 5's if you gonna upgrade the turbo. Just gonna have to watch the pyro all the time if you run it hard. Youll grow out of the 3's in no time trust me....

the best thing you could do for it is just get a hx40 and the jammer 5s then upgrade turbo when your wallet allows for a better turbo.

Go with 5's or you'll regret it. Unlike other guys I didn't have any problems with Egt's, when pulling hard with out my Powerpuck I never saw over 1300 deg. at 38lbs of boost on my stock turbo. But they will be a bit smokey when your going thru the gears.

I agree, get the 5's. I ran with stock turbo for a while with no problems. As long as you have a pyro and are not blind you will be fine. If you tow all day everyday I might have a different opinion, but I towed occasionally and as long as you're not being crazy the stock turbo will be ok.
