I may have missed previous discussion of this new transmission that is under development. I did note that there will be a 400 HP limiting rating on it...but it sounds like it may be a better and possibly lower cost alternative to an aftemarket modified Dodge automatic. Since it is being tested at this time, there is still no projected date for its availability on the market. Sure would be fun to be part of the test group!

 

That thing looks great. I'll wait to see the price before I sign up though.

 

400hp limit? So basically, all you could do to the truck would be a box and injectors and that's about it. I guess for the crowd who's looking for maybe a little more towing power, it would be nice. My money is still going to go to a high dollar tranny with no HP limit.
