Troublezilla - Sooner or later you will have a problem. Gauges work well with needle valve shut down 98%.This ought to tell you something. No restriction is a lot harder on th gauge than necessary. Why take the chance?

Anyone have a quick pic of their setup? I prefer a setup that takes the lead from the Schrader on the VP44 thru the needle and into the cab. Anyone have something like that they could post a pic of? I have an 01 so my filter canister does not have tapping bolts on the lid. I use the VP44 schrader for my current electric setup (via a grease gun hose to the sender).

I'd like to see the needle valve and its location in the line.

Thanks Evil... I just happened to find those not less than 5 minutes ago. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Moose10!

I've only been running the Isspro 0-30psi gauge since November, but no problems so far.
My setup is a little different now since the FASSII....no more banjo bolts, but I'm still using the needle valve off a tapped 90* elbow in the -6an line from the filter housing to the VP44.

Grainger part #'s = 6mn31...or 6mm61 usually work. Made by GEIB...either is under $4.00!

NAPA is where I got the brass fittings, needle valve, and hose in the pics. They should have loose parts bins where you'll find that stuff.

I have two other Isspros (boost and EGT), but I have a Westach electric fuel gauge. Obviously, it doesn't match so I'm interested in the range of the EV you guys have for fuel.

Oh, and how long have you had them in operation?

Thanks!
Steve
I went back and checked their site and you are right, nothing on there. I don't recall if I found it on their site, or just called and asked. Give them a call and see if they have it.

My gauge is like the other s mentioned, 0-30 psi. I have no issolator, just hooked it up with a needle valve and quarter inch hose. I got everything in a kit (gauge, fittings sans needle valve, and a single gauge pod) from WTD except the needle valve I picked up at NAPA.

I have had mine since December.

Sixteen months on my EV. I had a minute fuel leak behind the gauge that caused the needle to pulsate a little. I tightened everything and added a tie wrap to the hose. No more problems.

The needle valve is also a "safety valve". If the gage should ever develop a leak, you can quickly and easily turn it off.

That Grainger valve has pipe thread on one end and compression like a hydralic line on the other. My hose has 1/4" compression fitting.

Granger has the needle valve in any configuration you want. Male x female, MxM, FxF, compression and 90 degree.
