intermitent lift pump

intermitent lift pump

has anyone noticed lift pump pressures going up and down? My pump is shutting off sometimes. what can this be or should i just replace it?

yep, that's what mine did on its way out. replace it now or buy a new injection pump $$

yup I just ordered a FASS. Im tired of this garbage that Dodge and Cummins sells as a pump .6months old NOT!

i ordered a bully dog big line kit and it should be here sat. thanks for the info! my lift pump was only 6 monthsold also. hopefully covered under warranty. get some cash back since it caused my vp to fail the first time.

jegs sucks! i had to cancel the order and go to a local shop to buy a holley black pump. it runs great now and is consistent. it doesnt put out more than 10-11 psi but it doesnt drop any either. thanks for the help guys

Perfect example of why you put a fuel pressure gauge and why it is so important. Glad you got it swapped before it died. That Holley pump is a good pump so it should work well for you.
