My truck intermitently looses power. Seems to be defueling or loosing boost. When it looses power the pedal can be depressed with no change in acceleration. Without pulling a load the truck will slow down to 50 from 70 MPH. Does not seem to smoke. If I put in the clutch and let the engine idle for a second I can regain accelerating. The "Service Engine" light never comes on. I changed fuel filter, reset the computer, installed new MAP and IAT sensors, checked all intercooler hoses and clamps, and the fuel pressure does not drop.

Suggestions greatly appreciated.

 

Have someone pull the stored codes from the computer. Might be the APPS censer. Just a good guess. ???

 

Surely someone has fixed this problem before.... doesn't seem to matter if its standard or automatic trans. ... Come on guys How bout some more help here!
